Our First Zoo Trip

We took Lucas to the zoo for the first time on Memorial Day. He has been a couple of times for special events, like Boo at the Zoo and the Lights at the Zoo, but this was his first trip to see the animals.We spent most of Memorial Day weekend with the Howe's, and we really enjoyed being able to use their guest passes for a free, fun morning at the zoo. Lucas loved the animals! He loves to make animal sounds.

Strawberry Pickin'

Today we went to Cottle Strawberry Farm to go strawberry picking!

It was something I wanted to do on Mother's Day weekend, but we were out of town. So this morning we met the Howe's at the farm and picked some strawberries. It was also another excuse for me to use my camera, which Andrew wants me to do more.

Recently the photographer who took Lucas's newborn photos decided to sell some of her canvases of her work, and one of them is of Lucas. So I am anxious to get it:) It inspired me to order some canvases to display in our home. I'd like to create a gallery wall, Andrew's on board, it's going to be a building process, but I am excited to see it all come together over time. One of the pics ordered on canvas was a shot from today...

18 Months

18 months old check up

One shot today at his check up, and all was good. We took a trip to the park and added some cute shots to our photo collection :) 

LBO Updates

I've been very absent from the blogging world lately, but I have been just soaking up all things Lucas :) Today my TimeHop showed me just how long it's been...

I can't believe it's literally been 2 years since we first saw our sweet baby boy. It completely amazes me that a woman's body is actually able to create another human. I just can't believe it's him in this picture. I am sad time has passed so quickly, but I have loved every minute and I continue to be amazed each day by my sweet boy.

He's grown so much, but a flashback to many months ago where this chatty toddler was a baby just learning to talk

Some updates on Lucas...

He LOVES PawPatrol...it's a new obsession

He is eating with utensils-messy but doing it

He takes ONE nap a day now

He can climb a flight of stairs (or multiple if needed LOL)

He "runs" or walks very fast at times

He enjoys swimming-it wears him out!

He can drink with a straw
