Pups New Present

We've been talking for a few months about getting this present for the pups....however, until we had the house, we knew it wasn't possible. Our dog Tink discovered this wonderful 'present' at the dog park with our friends. So when we saw her enjoying herself so much, we knew we had to get one...so now the wait is over....we got them a POOL today!

Here are some other puppy pics (you have to understand, they are our children) :))))

On July 3rd, coming up, it'll officially been 1 year since we welcomed Tanner to our family:)

And our dinner in this extremely ridiculous heat...Chicken Tamale Bake! Thank you Pinterest, I've gotten so many good recipes

Summer Adventures & Trips

Last weekend, we decided to make a day trip to Folly Beach & Charleston, SC. We went with a couple of our friends from my school and our 'life/fellowship/bible study' group. We spent the morning on the beach then spent the afternoon roaming the market, and finished up our night at the Tattooed Moose (a stop on Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives). It was a unique dive, but I'm not sure I'd go back again (unfortunately).

at the Moon Pie shop.

Also, we spent some time visiting family for Father's Day

And the newest addition to our house, which we just moved into in May of this year, was a fence, the doggies are thrilllllled:)

Another new adventure for me this summer: Trying to grow tomatoes successfully...according to my grandparents...sounds like they have bottom rot--hence the not successful part.

And with my interest in food, I am trying to use new recipes each week ...Pinterest has inspired a lot of these new meals...Slow Cooker Chicken Parm.

Fresh Green Beans being snapped, while the d-o-g-s help...haha

Another Pinterest inspired meal: Chicken Enchilada Pasta...YUM!

On June 12, we celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary!

Here are a few pictures of our newest and most exciting adventure of the summer... OUR HOUSE!

Beautiful Saturday!

I think that's all the updating I need to do so far, but the pups say good bye:)

Sushi Adventure

Tonight we decided we wanted to try our hands at making sushi. We decided on using imitation crab meat, as we didn't want to fork out the cash for sushi grade tuna or any other fish, and we didn't want to get some fish that would make us sick....anyway first we took a trip to an Asian grocery store recommended by the Hubby's coworker. Here are some of our fun steps to a messy (and somewhat successful) dinner that was a lot of work, but a lot fun and pretty tasty, too!

Novice Blogger

I used to have a blog years ago, more like an online journal, but just got away from it. However, a few friends have inspired me to get started with a blog. It would be cool to have a place where I document events that happen, thanks for the inspiration Jessie...so here's the start to hopefully something great!
