Our Lil Pumpkin

October has been one of the most fun months with our baby boy in my opinion. I think he would agree with me, if he could answer that  :) We've had so many fun new adventures with him, that I feel will turn into great traditions as he gets older.

Lucas picked out his own pumpkin at the pumpkin patch, so he painted it (Andrew's idea-which I LOVED and will continue to do each year). He was also a pumpkin himself. He enjoyed the painting process, and it was a lot of fun! We (mostly Andrew, I cleaned it out, he carved it) carved our pumpkin and Andrew wired an LED light into the pumpkin instead of a candle-so high tech!

Walking Away

When I picked Lucas up on Tuesday, he decided to walk a few steps to me, but more than normal ...here's a little taste of his latest skills

Boo at the Zoo

We decided to take Lucas to Boo at the Zoo this year! We planned to meet a few fellow baby friends at the zoo from school. We mostly hung with the Howe family. We had a great time and Lucas was a precious little Dracula or Count Cutie! The weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded! I know next year, he will love it even more!

11 Months

11 Months old today!

Lucas has been taking a few steps at a time. However, today when I went to pick him up, he took 5 or so steps at one time to get to me! Then when everyone cheered, he turned his head and put it on his shoulder and squatted. I picked him up to do it again and he walked another 5 or so steps! 

I love this sweet boy!! He makes me smile everyday.

State Fair 2014

We love the FAIR!! It's one of the best things about the fall-in my opinion, plus it's a huge bonus that we live such a short drive from the fairgrounds!

Lucas was out a little past his bedtime, but he enjoyed all of the lights, sounds, and people.

Pumpkin Patch

Cool fall weather and lots of sunshine made me want to get outside. We took Lucas to a pumpkin patch and we had some fun! Here's a quick look at our beautiful day, still working on editing more pictures!
